In essence the heat pump absorb heat from a cold space and releasing it to a warmer one. A heat pump uses some amount of external power (about 1kw) to accomplish the work of transferring energy from the heat source to the heat sink.
Heat pumps can connected to your current electric geyser (retrofit) thus saving you money from purchasing a new geyser. Heat pumps are caterogorise as domestic (150 - 300L) and commercial/industrial (larger tanks i.e. >1000L).
Applications:
Domestic: Houses, hairdressers,
Commercial: Apartments, housing complexes, shopping complexes, laundries, office buildings, schools, sport centers, gyms, hospitals/clinics, hotels etc
